The best strategy advice for online poker – really
It never ceases to amaze me some of the absolute nonsense that can still be considered to be worthy of high rankings by search engines or can find its way into a Google ‘Alerts’ list. I have a very simple Google Alerts query which just says “poker news and tips“. Straightforward and to the point I’m sure you’ll agree and, unsurprisingly, I expect it to return poker news and tips – not some ridiculous load of drivel that I’m about to share with you.
Do you understand these poker tips?

Do you need poker advice?
I’m not joking but an article that Google decided was worthy of ranking sixth on one of the daily alerts I get was headlined – The best strategy advice for online poker. Needless to say I thought – with a headline like that and positioned sixth – it must have something really tasty in it. Imagine my disappointment when I read the opening line: “Hi friends,” so far so good “at this time to play games such as poker have a lot of tune.” What? Now I’m not an experienced online poker player, I’ve been playing for less than a couple of years and poker, like many games, has a code all of its own what with ‘rivers‘ and ‘flops‘ and ‘outs‘ etc. But, please can someone tell me if that garbage has some meaning in poker – or indeed in English at all? This particular article goes on to add some other gems of the English language such as, referring to websites offering poker games: “Many people forget that time because of intent to play this game. So, how about you?” Well, all I can say to that is whenever I’ve deciphered what on earth you’re trying to tell me – I might be able to give you an answer!
Looking for good poker advice.
Finding silly poker articles when you’re not particularly looking for them is one thing, but unfortunately this isn’t an isolated incidence of Google allowing pure nonsense through its supposed wonderful algorithm. With the new generation of search engines finally starting to deliver, Google need to ‘up’ their game if they want to provide decent answers to someone asking a simple question like give me some sensible poker news and tips to read. Although wolframalpha might not be the answer, having a look at Bing just might be? Of course the real problem comes from so called poker bloggers who don’t use professional English writers, unlike of course this site with its excellent poker tips and news; after all “pay peanuts – get monkeys”!
